Payment Policy

At Masters Optical, we want your checkout experience to be as clear and transparent as your new lenses. This payment policy outlines our payment processing methods, accepted forms of payment, and the procedures involved in your purchase.

1. Accepted Payment Methods

We accept the following payment methods:

- American Express

- Diners Club

- Discover

- JCB

- Maestro

- Mastercard

- Visa

All transactions are settled in US Dollars (USD).

2. Payment Timing

- Online Orders Your payment method will be pre-authorized at the time of purchase. The actual charge will be processed once the order is confirmed and processing begins.

- Prescription Eyewear Orders Payment is collected in full at the time the order is placed. Prescription lenses are custom-made products, and production begins immediately upon order confirmation.

- In-Store Purchases Payment is collected at the time of pickup or delivery.

3. Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Prescription eyewear (including frames, prescription lenses, and prescription sunglasses) qualifies as an eligible expense under most HSA and FSA plans. If your card carries the Visa or Mastercard logo, you can use it at checkout just like a standard bank card.

Please consult your plan administrator to confirm specific coverage and available balances. Masters Optical cannot determine the specific benefit terms of your individual plan.

4. Insurance

We accept vision insurance from several major providers. To use your insurance benefits:

1. Please contact us before placing your order so we can verify your coverage.

2. Provide your insurance member ID and group number.

3. We will process your claim and apply any applicable discounts to your order.

Insurance coverage varies by plan. Any remaining balance after the insurance contribution must be paid using one of the accepted payment methods listed above.

5. Payment Security

All online transactions are protected by industry-standard security measures:

- SSL Encryption All payment pages on our website utilize 256-bit SSL encryption technology to ensure the secure transmission of your data. - PCI DSS Compliance We adhere to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) to protect your card information. - No Card Data Storage We do not store your full credit card number on our servers after the transaction is complete.

6. Billing Errors

If you believe there is an error with a charge, please contact us within 30 days of the transaction date. We will investigate promptly; if we confirm the error is ours, we will make the necessary corrections or issue a refund.

Payment Failure or Rejection

If your payment is declined:

- Please check that the card number, expiration date, and billing address were entered correctly.

- Ensure your card has sufficient funds or available credit.

- If the issue persists, please contact your card issuer.

We do not hold orders for declined payments. You are welcome to retry using the same or a different supported payment method.
